Jim has never found it difficult to dream about adventures. This mindset has taken him all over the world—from the Scottish Highlands where he grew up to Spain, the Alps, and the United States. With over 20 years of experience guiding in the Scottish Highlands and overseas, Jim is a qualified mountain bike leader and holds the Winter Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor Award.
Jim enjoys watching his guests’ skills, confidence, and dreams grow when riding with him. Since completing an off-road traverse of Scotland in 2015, his passion for biking has only increased. While multi-day, unsupported rides are his specialty, he also loves the variety, interest, and challenge of road trips such as those offered by DuVine, especially the après-ride!
