Austria Bike Tours

At the geographic center of Europe, Austria is surrounded by diverse neighbors like Germany and the Czech Republic, the countries whose borders we cross by bicycle to dabble in Austria’s hinterlands. Specifically, it’s Austrian Tyrol—abutting the German state of Bavaria—that beckons us with its atmospheric beauty: ice-blue lakes, the drone of cowbells, and verdant pastures that sprawl from the feet of the Austrian Alps. And to the east, cycle along the Danube from Czechia into the scenic Wachau Valley, Austria’s culturally rich region famous for its vineyards of Grüner Veltliner and Riesling wines.
