Will lives in the Scottish Highlands, but has spent most of his life adventuring outdoors. Since graduating with an Environmental Geography degree, he has worked mainly as a teacher and expedition leader, taking school expeditions to Asia, Africa, and Latin America and guiding treks in the Alps, Himalaya, and on Kilimanjaro. In 2011, he was the first Scot to ride the Tour Divide, a 2,745-mile mountain bike race from Canada to Mexico. Nowadays he spends the winter seasons working with young people and encouraging them to enjoy the great outdoors, and summer months guiding bike tours in Scotland. Will considers himself lucky to be able to share the outstanding beauty, unique culture, and finest local cuisine that Scotland has to offer with enthusiastic, like-minded people.
