A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Marty’s love of nature was born deep in the Canadian backcountry, camping, foraging, and stargazing with his dad. After graduating from the Outdoor Adventure guide program at Algonquin College in 2015, Marty turned his passion for exploration and outdoor education into a rewarding career as a naturalist. From bioluminescent tours in the Cayman Islands to multi-day sea kayak trips in New Zealand, Marty has spent the last 8 years finding new ways to help people experience the beauty of the natural world.
After moving to Girona, Spain, in 2020, Marty discovered his latest obsession: cycling. With DuVine, he now combines the two things he loves most–guiding tours and riding bikes. When Marty isn’t on a trip with DuVine, he can be found ripping around on his bike training for his next gravel race.
